Each year, hundreds of children in Shelby County benefit from the Charity Distribution program. This program focuses on providing clothing to children ages 0-18. The program can also assist young men and women over the age of 18 who are still enrolled and attending high school.
The program provides pants, shirts, coats, shoes, gloves and hat, and undergarments. Referrals come to Charity League from 36 different Shelby County Agencies. Careful consideration is given to sizing and personal preference when selecting clothing for each child. Charity League’s volunteers shop for each child and deliver the clothing to the referring agency. The family is then contacted to pick up the clothing.
Each year, Charity League provides clothing for over 300 children. Every donation to Charity League, whether through your attendance and support at one of our fundraising events or a direct donation to our organization, goes directly back into the community to help children!
